ON LEADERSHIP. 40 BOSSES IN 40 YEARS!

In my (mostly) retail management career, I have had 40 bosses in 40 years. That sounds a bit too neat but it is true. As a result, I think I know a bit, actually quite a lot, about leadership styles and behaviours and, for a potential book on the subject, I honed my thoughts on each boss to just one word.

In this very strange and unsettling era of world leadership, particularly politically, I have been thinking about a one-word appraisal of Donald Trump. That's a tough one. I can't decide on just ONE word. Can you?

So, while I ponder him, his style and behaviour, here is the list of my 40 bosses and my words to describe them.
